What is the procedure to apply for a Police clearance certificate?

There is no such validity marked on the PCC. It depends on the user department/employer how latest they need. Generally the employer/organisation asks for PCC not older than six months.

I would like to apply for a Police Clearance Certificate. I am Australian citizen. Can I get it?

Yes you will get a PCC on Australian and Valid Indian passport as well.

I would like to know if you can help me to get my Power attorney attested.

We will help you in POA. I would like to confirm our process. If it is a POA for sell of Property There will be following procedure: 1. Prepare POA 2. Get it Notarised – approx A$140 3. Get it Apostille from DFAT -approx $85 4. Get it attested from Consulate/VFS- $65 5. Send the original POA to india. 6. Get it registered to the registrar/sub registrar office of the area where the land is located. We can assist with Preparation of POA and attestation Services from the Consulate at $60. Our service for only attestation will cost $25.

My lawyer from India has sent POA on Indian Stamp Paper for signature. This POA is for my mother-in-law to process banking needs on our behalf. I am Australian citizen.My wife is Indian citizen.

General process for attestation of POA holding OZ Passport: 1. Get the attestation document notarised along with copy of OZ passport 2. Submit the notarised document for apostille at Aus Passport Office 3. After apostille, May submit it to the VFS for attestation POA attestation for someone holding Indian passport: 1. Lodge application at VFS for attestation along with a copy of Indian Passport directly. Now, if both are applying for POA for a joint loan- it will be a blend of two processes. Our role- we generally assist with complete documentation for POA for getting it done from VFS/Consulate. We don’t assist with documentation for Oz authorities however we will guide you through the step by step process.

I just wanted to ask a quick question on birth certificate. I need my birth certificate. I was born in Punjab in India but never had a birth certificate. Now I am an Australian citizen along with an OCI card holder. I had obtained a birth certificate which was made on the basis of my passport back in 2010 by the Indian consulate in Melbourne. But the organisation for which I need it for requires the original certificate not an extract. I don’t believe that I have a birth certificate.I can also supply them with NABC. What is your opinion on this and how long the process will take to brain a NABC. Thanks in advance.

I think, that would be the only option – to have it through NABC. Unfortunately we would not be able to assist with any information in that regard.
